A family race team takes tremendous effort, skill, sacrifice, financial support and especially passion. Les Rose Jr has been around racing his entire life; his passion for the sport passed down from his father Les Rose Sr. Winning in every division he has competed in over the years, Les Jr has never won a race in a full sized modified race car, he hopes after all they've had to overcome the past few years that this season can be something special, and if not...then he's going to enjoy every second of just being behind the wheel again. Les Rose Jr. will be racing in the Tr-Track Modified Series in New England; a 6 race, highly competitive season.
Cody Rose is following right in his father's footsteps. Cody, just like Les, grew up in the sport and in the garage, helping his dad build and prepare for every race. Now Cody has graduated from 2 years of karting to buy his own Pro4 Modified Car. Keeping the frame and rebuilding the car entirely from scratch, the build is a ridiculously time consuming and technical project. Meanwhile, this is Cody's rookie season in a real race car, so while expectations are high and the family team is excited...the car still needs to get finished and no one knows how Cody will adapt and drive. Nonetheless, Les' race season is the priority.
They say "it takes a village", and that statement has never been more true than applying to a bootstrapping, fun-loving, family oriented race team.
